ALBERTA, Canada (Business Wire EON) July 22, 2008 -- Art joins Vital Lifestyle Water after two decades in the beverage sector where he led various brands' sales and marketing teams, opened new distributor business and retail opportunities and played an integral role in new product development. As Vice President of Sales for the Eastern Division of Soma Beverages, Art helped build the Metromint business by managing a network of brokers, creating various channel strategies and managing their growth as well as handling major accounts. He also played critical roles in developing new product lines and overseeing general market expansion.
Prior to joining Soma, Art was with Beverage Solutions of New York where as a consultant he focused on developing and then managing a hybrid distribution model for RTD brands. He also developed various DSD strategies for Campbell Soup's V8 and other brands and the Metromint brand in his capacity as an overall industry consultant.
Before his arrival at Beverage Solutions, Art also spent time with Leading Brands of America and Global Beverage Systems.
