For swimwear and all seasonal wear, the best bargains may be at the end of the season. If you aren't a slave to current fashion trends, that pricey swimsuit or other item may be drastically reduced and you can snap it up at a fraction of the price. If your weight fluctuates a lot, this might not work, but for others it's a great money saver.

For instance, I know a woman who went to the website of famous designer and found an amazing deal that allowed her to purchase several dresses at a fraction of their retail price. In this deal, you selected a size and they choose a style and color. Often, she was able to purchase three nice dresses for the price of one. Of course, a quality return policy is a must for all but the very bravest should you choose this course.
Many sellers offer great deals in their paper catalogs, so they are a good place to look for bargains. Comb catalogs, call toll free numbers, and search the web for current specials and offers. Another way to save on your wardrobe is to find a "size buddy" who wears the same size as you, and to trade clothing back and forth. This will effectively double your wardrobe without doubling your expense. Finding a friend with similar fashion tastes can really pay off.

Find someone to shop with you if possible, and seek out bargains in specialty catalogs and over the Internet. There's no reason that a full-figured woman should have to pay more to look good!
