Paw Palace, One of the Leading Pet Boutiques Online, Unleashes a Unique Program for Other Businesses Looking for Cost Effective Advertising

(PRWEB) July 23, 2007 -- Paw Palace, one of the most successful online pet boutiques since 2004, has recently launched a unique advertising program for other businesses looking to target the pet pampering market.

"When I started my businesses three years ago, getting exposure to a certain niche of consumers was very important to me," states Dana Ujobagy, the Owner of Paw Palace. "However, being on a budget for advertising was always an issue. I tried paying for ad words on Yahoo and Google and found it was costing hundreds of dollars per month for those "clicks" and I wasn't always getting my investment in advertising returned in sales. Also, print advertising was always another costly investment, but I often found that it didn't necessarily drive the traffic to the website that I was hoping for. It seemed that my ads always got lost in a pool of other businesses trying to expose their company as well. I realized that the high cost of advertising hardly worked, especially on a shoestring budget," further explains Ms. Ujobagy. "After a lot of research and patience, we have finally reached the high ranking standards within the Internet Search Engines a specialty store, such as Paw Palace, needs to achieve success."

After releasing their newly re-designed website recently, Ms Ujobagy wanted to add a unique feature for her visitors, but moreover, an opportunity for other businesses looking for that certain consumer. "People who are shopping for specialty items are more likely to seek out other unique places as well," states Ms. Ujobagy. "I receive emails continuously from new pet business owners looking for 'exposure' advice or requesting that I add them to my links page. To be quite frank, this page is probably the least viewed on our website. People are coming to our website looking at product content. This is why I finally decided to offer such a service to other businesses but make it cost efficient. Furthermore, for businesses to gain maximum exposure on our website, we decided to do site-wide advertising banners that will rotate according to the number of advertisers in a given month and the number of page views; all on content pages where our consumers are all the time," explains Ms Ujobagy. "Also, to make our advertising program appeal to all pet related businesses, whether it be a small, local pet grooming shop or a large resort allowing pets, we decided to offer a program at an even lower advertising rate since consumers must walk through their doors rather then clicking through a website to buy an item. To me, it's only fair to offer lower advertising rates to these establishments because they can not gain an impulse sale like someone who sells and ships products through the internet. To me, it just makes more sense," states Ms. Ujobagy.

Paw Palace will be offering this advertising program to selected businesses in order for the service to be effective. "We just don't want to flood everyone with the same type of business," Ms. Ujobagy explains. "There is plenty of competition out there and we want our visitors to have an extensive selection of other 'specialty' shops to choose from, as well as, various points of interest available to them through a convenient forum."

Also, any business requesting this service must need at least an informational website to be redirected to for the visitor to gather further information. Paw Palace further noted that all advertising requests will not be honored. "We don't condone businesses like puppy mills so any request from such businesses will certainly be declined," said Ujobagy. It will solely depend on the type of services or products the other business offers.
