Rockwall, Texas (PRWEB) February 27, 2007 -- The Faith Based Marketing Association announces the call for entries for the first Faith & Family Innovative Marketer Award, an accolade that will be presented at the Faith Based Marketing Summit April 10-11 at the Renaissance Dallas Richardson Hotel.

The award will be presented to someone who--in 2006--executed a creative, innovative, outside-the-box campaign, idea or event that positively impacted a faith based audience. The five finalists will be notified prior to the Summit and the winner will be awarded a Bahamas Cruise with a Cause for two on the Royal Caribbean cruise line June 4-8, 2007.

"An award like this one, recognizing superior achievement in the faith based market, has been a long-time coming," said Bob Hutchins, co-founder of the Faith Based Marketing Association. "This is a niche that really has exploded in its reach and influence, consisting today of upwards of 159 million people in the U.S. alone, and we are looking forward to recognizing the innovators who are creatively reaching this faith based market."

Entries are judged primarily on the impact that was made on the faith based market, with categories including: reach, target audience, creative strategies, measured results and budget. A select group of professionals representing the faith based market and approaching a century of combined experience will determine one winner and four honorary mentions. These five will be given the opportunity to present their innovative approach at the 2nd Faith Based Marketing Summit, April 10-11.
